Top 10 Best iPhone 6 Plus Covers & Cases To Buy In 2015 Reviews

iPhone 6 Plus Case Armorbox i-Blason® Protector Protection Reduction

The case is amazing. Love the color and the quality. Takes up a lot less space than the otterbox defender my husband used to use.

Pros:
- Does not interfere with camera
- Easy touch screen capability
- Sturdy design
- Nice color selections

Cons:
- No instructions
My only complaint is that it didn't come with instructions for putting the case on. I found the video on i-Blason's website, but it would have been nice to have instructions included with the product.

However, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable but durable case!

9. iPhone 6 Plus Case, Spigen Slim Armor Case for iPhone

iPhone 6 Plus Case, Spigen Slim Armor Case for iPhone

I love Spigen cases, so the first thing I did after buying an iPhone 6 Plus was purchase the Slim Armor Case. I had the Slim Armor Case for my iPhone 5s and loved it so it made sense for me to get one for my 6 Plus.

After roughly 2 weeks with the case here are my thoughts…

Pros:

- The look of the case is fantastic. I love the overall coverage it offers for the 6 Plus. It’s slim enough to not add too much bulk to the phone, yet thick enough to give off a sense of security. The stand is excellent and has been put to good use. At first it seems a little flimsy and vulnerable to being snapped off, but so far it’s held up pretty well.
- The headphone jack opening is much improved over the Slim Armor for the 5s. I’m able to insert my Sony MDR headphone jacks without having to take off the case.
- What I like a lot but can be overlooked, is the open hole in the back of the case that exposes the Apple logo. Because of the size of the 6 Plus, the hole allows you to place your finger in the opening and shift the phone around in your hand. The bigger size of the iPhone makes you adjust the way you hold it with more of an open hand with spread fingers, so the hole definitely helps.
- Another plus about the Slim Armor is that it works well with the iLoome ScreenMate. I believe there are currently two glass protectors that cover the outer beveled edge of the iPhone 6/6 Plus screen. Once applied to the iPhone, the Slim Armor edge flows nicely into the ScreenMate. As compared to other glass screen protectors that have space in-between the case edge and touchscreen area. This can be annoying when sliding up/down the control center and notifications.

Cons:

- My only gripes with the case and the reason I gave it 4 stars out of 5, was the button design.
- They made the buttons flush all around which makes it look nice, but lacks in functionality.

- I have to constantly look and/or use trial and error to either raise or lower the volume. The same goes for the power button. - The rubber material almost feels like the plastic surrounding it so just going by feel doesn’t always work.

8.  iPhone 6 Case, Caseology Protection Turquoise Absorbent
iPhone 6 Case, Caseology Protection Turquoise Absorbent

Pretty good case. I really liked the one for my iphone 5 and so I decided to get it for my iphone 6. I'm a little disappointed though because the case for the iphone 6 is a bit bulkier than the one I had for my iphone 5, it also has more noticeable glitter on the back of the case than the one I had for my iphone 5.

It's only noticeable if you look close or out in direct sunlight. Lastly, I can't fit the Amazon branded lightning cable I bought. I have to take off the case to use my Amazon lightning cable. The case will fit the OEM Apple cables just fine. I personally like the Amazon cable because it's longer and more durable than the OEM Apple ones.

Pros:

- affordable
- protects entire phone
- durable color/finish

Cons:

- not compatible with Amazon lightning cable
- a little bulky for my taste
- not a fan of the glitter

7. iPhone 6 Plus Case Scratch Resistant i-Blason-Anti Scratch
iPhone 6 Plus Case Scratch Resistant i-Blason-Anti Scratch

light weight scuff n scratch protector without extract bulk. Not meant for heavy duty drop and shock protection.

Pro:
- low profile, doesnt tack on additional bulk to already large phone
- transparent to show off a well design phone

Con:
- side bumper catches dye of your jeans, see pic
- Not air tight, dust can get between back of phone and cover which if not cleaned will cause micro scratches
- back cover is not scratch proof, as advertised, but for the price i wasn't expecting gorilla glass

This is a great light weight cover, i don't care if its not scratch proof, cheap enough to toss and buy another

6. iPhone 6 Case Spigen® Non Slip Perfect Fit Premium Excellent
iPhone 6 Case Spigen® Non Slip Perfect Fit Premium Excellent

Overall, I really like the case. It really does a good job of covering the phone without adding any appreciable bulk. But I do have one issue - it's just a bit too slippery. The texture of the material does not add a significant amount of grip over the actual iPhone 6 (which is itself super-slick in your hand.)

Pros:
- Super slim design
- Tight fit
- Adds nearly no bulk to phone, while adding a good level of protection from scratches and dents.
- The dark blue grey color is sharp! I've gotten some nice complements on the color!

Cons:
- SLIPPERY. With the larger iPhone, some level of enhanced grip in your hand is needed. Shame on Apple for not designing to this ergonomic requirement.

I am likely going to pull out my Dremel and find some way of roughing the edges of the case slightly to increase the grip of the edges.

5. Yousave Accessories iPhone 6 Case Ultra Thin Clear Silicone Gel Cover

For the price it's great. One of the things that annoy me about phone cases is that they change the shape, weight, size, feel of the phone. So you spend hundreds of pounds on a device that has been crafted to be ultra thin etc, then wrap it in something that looks like a boiler jacket to protect it, you may as well by the huge device that does the same but is far cheaper.

This is small and as it's see through it's practically invisible. It probably won't provide much protection from dropping it but I got it to stop scratches / scuffs while it's in my pocket. To protect from dropping I will apply the same protection I use for everything else, my sight, touch and common sense, it seems to work for other things I don't want to drop like hot tea, my car keys and basically everything I have ever held and not wanted to break.

4. iPhone 6 Case, LUVVITT® ULTRA ARMOR
iPhone 6 Case, LUVVITT® ULTRA ARMOR

Originally, I was going to purchase a Spigen case since most people bought those, but I wanted something that provided a good lip coverage and style to compliment my iphone 6 (white/gold). The reason I didn't go with Spigen is for the very same reason--it didn't meet my needs (protection and style). Common complaints I have read about cases included too slippery for handling, poor button feedback, poor charger/aux access, lack of sturdiness, etc. To summarize my opinion about the case:

Pros :
- Champagne gold colorway compliments the white/gold iPhone 6
- Does NOT slip out of your hand! Great friction when handling it
- Great access to aux and charger port so you can use most third party cables (probably not docks)
- Awesome lip that's raised high enough so that your screen won't make contact with the surface if placed face down (not like Spigen where it's only 0.56-0.8mm lip which I find not enough)
- Two layer protection: will absorb shock and probably take some falls (haven't personally dropped mine yet)
- The button feedback is great where I can press it without excessive effort and will respond
- Raised lip on the camera and logo (no clear screen to cover it though, but not a big deal to me)
- Case is very clean and the box is of professional design (not a buying point, but a compliment)

Cons :
- It was somewhat difficult putting the case on without trying to get the buttons rubbed over in the process. I think it's because of the design of the case and the protection it provides so it's a good tradeoff. Definitely SHOULD NOT DETER anybody from buying this. For the price paid, it definitely lives up to its value.

Bottom line--I definitely recommend this case. It's pretty awesome. I've also read some people complain about bulkiness, but I think those people are being dramatic or extremely picky. You can't want great protection without having to add some size to your phone. With that said, the phone+case it still of awesome size. Very portable and not bulky. Very satisfied with my buy. Thanks LUVVITT!

3. iPhone 6 Case Maxboost Vibrance Protective SOFT Interior Protection

iPhone 6 Case Maxboost Vibrance Protective SOFT Interior Protection

This is a pretty decent case for the money. The color is awesome, and it has a really soft texture to it. I've had it on my phone for about 3 days and I really like it. The edges are already stained and dirty looking from being in my pockets however, but I expected that because of the texture of the material and because it's a lighter color.

It seems like this is an incredibly common problem for all phone cases nowadays. I am concerned about the longevity of the buttons on the sides because they're cut outs and only attached on one edge of the button..so I foresee them breaking off if something happens to catch on it. I can't really say anything about how well it's drop protection is, since I rarely drop my phone.. My favorite part about it is it gives the feeling of a "naked" phone! Really shows how rounded the iPhone 6's really are!

Pros:
-Bright, pretty color
-Close fitting/feels like phone is "naked"
-Soft texture
-Doesn't feel cheap

Cons:
-Gets dirty/stained after only 2-3 days of use
-Buttons could break off probably pretty easily
-Might not fit an aftermarket charger with a wider base
-Edges of access holes on bottom kind of irritate my pinky finger
Overall, I really like this case. I plan on using it for a long time. I became an iPhone person just for all of the fun cases I could get, so I've had A LOT of experience with all kinds. This is my favorite of the iPhone 6 cases that I have.

2. OtterBox Defender Series iPhone 6 Case
OtterBox Defender Series iPhone 6 Case

This case has its flaws but it appears to be able to do the job of protecting the phone from the damaging effects of dropping. And that was my main concern given the overly high price of Apple products such as the iPhone 6. For the price that they are being sold for you would think that they would include a case. So let me get into the good.
Pros:
- Built tough and designed to absorb the hard blows of everyday drops. Of course, it may not protect it enough should it be dropped off a balcony. But then how many would stand by the railings with their phone in a precarious position?
- Easy to install. I was able to install mine in a matter of a minute or so. It was just a matter of removing the belt clip plate, pulling the rubber exterior off and then placing the phone into the hard plastic case and the replacing the rubber exterior. That's it. You can keep the belt clip off if you wish as that is not necessary and can add bulk to the device should you decide to place it in your bag.
- The case is attractive and does not look cheap like many other less costly ones. I looked at many others at the stores and was even tempted to get the Spigen which the worker recommended because he claimed that it was worth over forty bucks. I thought it looked like it was worth no more than ten bucks. I got compliments for this case as soon as I brought my phone out.
- It comes with a built in screen protector. You don't have to spend another twenty or thirty bucks just to protect the screen. The Spigen requires a separate screen protector as it does not come with it. Further, I found a review that showed how a phone's screen got cracked severely even with the use of the Spigen. The Spigen definitely does NOT protect the screen.
- The fingerprint recognition feature worked fine for me. I did not have to recalibrate it after installing the case. It worked just fine for me. I suspect that those complaining about it not recognizing their fingerprint did not follow the instructions on the iPhone when calibrating it. It's actually rather easy.
- The buttons helped reduce accidental pressing of the volume switches. I tended to push these buttons accidently whenever I pressed the on/off button. Now, it never happens.
- The mute button cover helps prevent accidental pressings. I often would find my phone going into the silent mode by accident as it made contact with other things in my bag. That now never happens.
- The iPhone 6 fits this case perfectly. I did not experience what some people claim that the phone jiggled in the case due to the case being a little too big. I shook it to check the fit and it never jiggled.
- I love the grip that the rubber exterior has. It is very well made in that aspect. There is a texture that makes it easy to grip on to this case.

Now for the bad.
Cons:

- The on/off button is hard to use and required a hard press. Related to this is that the volume buttons are hard to use. You really have to press them to get the response that you need.
- The screen protector is not quite perfectly flush with the screen. But this is a small complaint as it does not prevent one from using the screen. You just have to slide your finger on the screen again. No biggie here.
- The belt clip is too bulky and is not practical unless you plan on just keeping your phone on your belt.
- The charger port is too narrow. If you use a third party charger, you will find that it will not fit into the case. I had a third party charger that came with my phone through a bonus with Costco but now it is useless. Just be aware of that if you do not currently have a regular Apple lightning charger, you won't be able to charge your phone unless you remove the phone off the case. Although I said it is easy to install this case it can be a pain to do that every time you need to charge your phone. And you know that the Apple charging cable is not cheap as all Apple products tend to be on the pricey side.
- A minor quibble of mine is the texturizing of the face plate which makes it look a bit cheap. They should have stuck with the smooth shiny texture that is around the window that displays the Apple logo. They didn't need to add texture to the face plate as people normally do not grip that part of the phone. The rubber already surrounds the edges quite well.
- Another minor quibble is that there is not enough customization of the case. They could simply allow you to mix and match according to your taste. Some might want an all-white case, for example. Or some might like the gun metal grey with a yellow face plate instead of the white. I do like this color combination but I know others may be looking for another alternative outside of what is available.
- Although this case is water resistant, it is not waterproof. That, again, is a small quibble as that would probably add to the price. When a case costs 1/6 of a phone's price, it is too pricey. The Life Proof does that job but it is way too expensive for my taste.
- Another minor quibble is that the headphone jack cover does not quite cover it. It is rather strange to have a cover that only partially covers the opening.
- A major flaw is the difficulty to remove the charger from the phone after charging. But that is partly due to Apple's design of the cable. The plug is too short. But then the plug was not designed with a case in mind. It should have been extended a little to make it easier for bigger fingers to handle. You don't want to pull the plug from the cord as that may loosen the cord from the plug.

And that is my assessment of this useful case. If there is anything else that I would suggest to the manufacturer is to create a clear rubber exterior for those that want their phone's natural beauty to shine through. After all, the iPhone 6 is a beautiful phone. Why cover it with all these plastic and rubber parts that hide it? They could even add a little tint for added effect. I have other suggestions for Otter Box but that would become a thesis. If they want more of my suggestions, they can click on "helpful" so that I will be notified of a response and adding a comment. I would be glad to help them. After all, I would love to see some improvements on this phone case and give it a five instead of a four star rating. Cheers!

1. iPhone 6 Case Spigen® CUSHION Crystal Cushion Technology
iPhone 6 Case Spigen® CUSHION Crystal Cushion Technology

This iphone case is as slim as the iphone 6 itself and feels great in your hand. Given just how thin this case is makes one wonder whether it can truly live up the the preventative damage claim it boasts to have that could occur from an accidental drop on the floor. While I have not looked into testing such a theory, I will say the material is nice and firm and gives the impression that it won't fracture from a sharp strike, all the while allowing just enough give to help soften any blow.

The only complaint that I have is that the design of the case is made in such a way that the volume buttons and the power button are "protected" behind the case itself. And unless you're looking at the phone, one can easily overlook these as your fingers will have a hard time differentiating the engravings made for the buttons from the rest of the case. Plus it doesn't help that pushing in these buttons now takes twice as much force as it would have otherwise been without the case on.

Overall though this is a great phone case. It feels great in your hand, fits and molds to the iphone 6 perfectly, and doesn't diminish the already lightweight feel of the iphone 6. I just wish the buttons weren't locked behind the case.

Pros:
- provides better grip
- showcases your phone that is worth hundred of dollars
- levels out the camera so phone stays flat on table
- bumper is about 1/2 mm, great to keep the face of the phone off the surface
- protects the back with a see-through plastic
- fits amazingly snugly, will never fall out of case, ever
- buttons are still very easily to press
- has a big enough cut out for third party charging cables or earphones
- has air technology provided in every Spigen case to minimize impact
- does not really add any bulk to the phone
- great feel on the hands

Cons:

- minimal protection, about a 4 feet drop at most(from pocket)
- the (+/-_) and PWR seems like it may wear overtime of constant usage
- hard to locate where the buttons actually are
Final Review: I'm giving this case a 4 1/2 stars. The case is awesome for those who really don't prefer cases due to the bulk, trust me, you will want a case for the iPhone 6. It's the perfect case for those who want to showcase their phone, and rarely ever drop their phone with daily usage. IF you're clumsy with the phone or just overall reckless, buy a stronger case, less showcasing but more protection. For the price of $12, I was more than happy with this case. WARNING: Do take off the plastic film on BOTH sides of the case, very hard to notice it's there, but after a few consistent clawing at the ends, you will find it. Highly recommended case for non-clumsy people.
